What I think in under 200 words: Tresemme dry shampoo review

I’ve decided to start making reviews that were shorter and to the point. I’ll try to think of a more fun name, but here’s my first one.
I had been looking for a dry shampoo to use in between washes for the longest time and decided to try the Tresemme spray for oily hair. It’s inexpensive, and you can find it almost anywhere. It comes in a canister with about 6 oz and sprays out like hairspray but in powder form. When I picked it up, I wanted to test it on three things: If it absorbed any oil, if it left residue, and if it left color in my hair. And for me, the product failed on each one. It didn’t do a bad job at absorbing the oil, but It gave it almost a matted feel and look, and I could feel it in my hair. I also found that I had to brush my hair a lot to get the powder out.
I know that this worked for some people, and I know that they have one for dry hair that may be better. I am trying another dry shampoo that I can talk about after I’ve used it long enough.

My new obsession…Face Off.

Where has this show been all this time? For anyone who does not randomly check the syfy channel, let me explain. The contestants battle through each round by creating works of art with makeup, sculptures, and creative characters. I’m talking about movie-like masks and transformations. Since the new season just started, the old season was rerunning, and I couldn’t stop watching! I loved all the finalists’ creations. Gretel crouching on the ground was so creepy with her eyes, little red looked awesome with her steam punk inspired look, and the frog prince was perfect, especially with its throat movement. And the winner of the first season is now working on The Hunger Games movie!
So after seeing the first episode of the new season, I am so excited. The two teams had to recreate four characters from The Wizard of Oz, and I really liked some of the designs. I love the cowardly lion with his skinny frame and timid demeanor, and the scarecrow was so good with its coiled, root-like fingers. I watch a lot of what I like to call “junk TV” from reality to runway shows, and I was getting into a monotonous routine. But this show is really interesting. I’m waiting each week to see what fantastic, creepy, and interesting characters the contestants’ come up with.
I think everyone should give Face Off a chance. Does anyone have a show that they love?

Md Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel review…wow, that’s a mouth full :)

One of my favorite things to do is to exfoliate my face. I love it. Whether it’s a chemical exfoliation or the rough, scrubbing type, I want to try it. I had never tried a peel like the one from md skincare, and I had heard so many good things about it. The only thing holding me back was the price, but I decided to splurge buy the one with thirty applications when I saw it on sale. The peel is available in extra strength and regular; I got the regular. When you open the cylinder package, you see that it came with two jars with step one and two. Each jar has thirty cotton applicators saturated in the liquid. You wipe it all over your face, neck, hands, where ever you want…except your eyes, of course. After that, you wait two minutes and then apply step two the same way. I was left with a tingling feeling that felt really clean. It didn't hurt or burn, but I don’t know how it would be for more sensitive skin. I do think it helped with overall cleanliness and exfoliation. I used it twice a week, so it also lasts a really long time and made me feel like I was getting all I could out of it.
I only had two problems with it; the price and the packaging. I can’t really justify paying that much for just “good results”. I think a product has to be great for me to repurchase it. I've bought products for less that have done just as much. And as far as the packaging goes, the cotton applicators in the one of the jars dried out. But if you buy the ones in the travel packaging and not in the jars, that won’t be a problem. I am happy that I tried it and, I do think that it’s worth a try if you can afford it. I don't have a camera to take pictures with, but the one I've inserted is similar to the one I got.
